About us
Women for Change is a non-profit organization dedicated to integrating and including refugee women in Norwegian society. Increased participation in Norwegian society fosters greater trust and belonging, essential components for the sustainability of the Norwegian welfare system. Our organization aims to provide refugee women with the opportunity to reach their potential and become independent members of Norwegian society through participation in working life and volunteering. To achieve this, we offer specific integration activities, including systematic sharing of valuable cultural, social, economic, political, legal, and health information, courses on mental health, job searching, child welfare, networking, and digital skills. Additionally, we organize cultural activities and provide capacity building for young women in Norway, as well as offer lessons in leadership and negotiations for young Afghan women, and provide mentorship and coaching.
